Now that I’m getting into the meat of the game a lot of pieces have started clicking into place. For instance, the combat system has a lot more strategy than I initially thought: moving in and out of range, watching enemy movements, exploiting openings, and more all come into play, as does boarding the enemy ship, which is high risk, but can end a battle instantly. Also the ship-modifying mechanic is coming into play more now that I’ve got more parts than my ship can fit at once. In short, day two with Infinite Space has left a much better impression with me than day one did.
