Finished the game. The final level and ending was alright: not terrible, but neither was it particularly memorable, and everything ties up strangely quickly. From a gameplay perspective, the ending of the game had almost none of what made the game unique: the investigations and interviews, and instead focused on the rather average shooting mechanics. It seems like an odd decision to end a slow, methodical, investigation game with a couple of big shootouts, but that's exactly what happened here. I can't claim that I garnered no enjoyment from the ending as the shooting is still mindless fun, but I still wish that I had a chance to use my investigatory skills (you know, the ones that the rest of the game is focused on) more at the end of the game.
