It's amazing that one productive day can change the entire state of the game for you. While yesterday it looked nearly impossible that I would be able to finish the game and post-game DLC (Shadow Broker, Arrival) before the release of Mass Effect 3 on Tuesday, after today, I'm pretty sure that I can easily beat the game in three more moderately-lengthed sessions. Today, I finished up all of the loyalty missions (Samara, Tali, Jack and Thane's) and did the entirety of the Overlord expansion, which I had never played before. I liked Overlord; what little story there was was decent enough, albeit completely disconnected from the main game) and the action was very well done. I liked seeing more content for the Firewalker, although my complaints about the vehicle still stand (not enough armor, can't save while driving it), and the environments, as is par for the course with Bioware DLC, takes great strides to look unique and is quite striking in places. The combats are entertaining as well, so while it's not the very best of Mass Effect 2's DLC (that honor lies squarely with Lair of the Shadow Broker), or even important to the story (like Arrival arguably is), but it is fun way to spend a couple of hours.
