I finally think that I have dialed in my settings properly to get the best combination of playability and visual prowess (DX11 Very high, AAA anti-aliasing, 16X AF, Tesselation), however, the game keeps throwing more and more intensive areas at me, so I wouldn't be surprised to find my PC chugging through the game again. Putting that aside, I really wish that the game had a quick-save feature: I realize that it was left out by the developers to help immerse you in the game-world, but having to play the same 10-minute segment of a game a dozen times doesn't do much for immersion either. On a related note, the stealth aspects of the game could use a little bit of work, as enemies seem to know where you are as soon as your presence is detected in any way, including finding corpses and detecting sudden lighting changes (from you extinguishing lamps and the like). It's particularly frustrating when combined with the lack of quick-saving. At least it offers some variety and choice in the gameplay and keeps things interesting (if a bit on the frustrating side), and that's a good thing.
