It took me a few hours longer than expected, but I finally finished. The last battle was suitably epic, taking up an entire chapter, instead of just the end of one. My only complaint about the end is that the final boss is pretty cheap, and it does get pretty irritating. Mind you, it could have been worse: It's nowhere nearly as frustrating as the end of Uncharted 2, but It's still annoying when the rest of the game was so well balanced. My general assessment is Sakura Wars: So Long My Love was absolutely worth my time and money. It's a unique and amazingly entertaining game with a strong story, fun combat, and most importantly, a cast of unforgettable characters. I'm not done with this game either: I will probably play it through again, on top of going through the ending chapters in order to unlock variations on the ending with each girl, but that I for another time.
